A XX. század legjobb magyar riportfotói Best Hungarian Press photos of the XX-th century Kedves Olvasó! Ez a második válogatás a XX. század általam legjobbnak ítélt Jf' magyar sajtó- és dokumentarista fotográfiáiból, az 1945 utáni sport-, portré-, hír- és zsánerképekből. Több megjelenő felvétel egy-egy hosszabb sorozat vagy album legjobbjai közül való. Ha a fotókat más válogatta volna, akkor ugyanezen szerzők néhány más képét láthatnák most itt, de az előző válogatás (Fotóriporter 2002/1-2) szakmai és közönségsikere azt mutatta, hogy - kisebb érzékenységektől eltekintve - jó úton járok. Remélem, mások is készítenek hasonló válogatásokat, és akkor mindenki eldöntheti majd, mely képek állnak hozzá közelebb. Ne lepődjenek meg a különböző szubjektív életrajzokon sem, hiszen több derül ki belőlük, mintha csak egyszerű, hivatalos adatokat kapnának. André Kertész és Brassai kortársai és utódai - mint láthatják - világszínvonalon dolgoznak, néha sajnos, észrevétlenül. Budapest, 2003. július 20. Several of the pictures appearing here are among the best from one or two longer series or albums. If someone else had chosen the pictures, you would now be seeing a few different pictures by the same photographers. But the success of the previous selection (Fotóriporter 200211-2), both with the public and within the profession - apart from a few cases of slight touchiness -showed that I am on the right track. I hope others will make similar ^^ selections and then everyone can decide which pictures they favour. " Do not be surprised either at the various subjective biographical details, since more emerges from these than from simple, official facts.
